Lodging/Accommodations:
The local planning committee has negotiated rates at a list of hotels and apartments. More information and costs are provided below.
- Dreams Hotel Puerto Rico (13 minutes walk to conference venue) –
Option 1: room with 2 full/queen beds- $130.00
Option 2: room with 1 full bed-$100.00
Option 3: room with 1 full bed and 1 twin-$110.00
Option 4: room with 1 full and a bunk bed (two twin beds)- $130.00

Dreams Hotel is located in a neighborhood near UPR-San Piedras, with many affordable restaurants nearby.
- Verdanza Hotel (14 minutes ride to the venue) –
Verdanza Hotel is located steps from Isla Verde beach and near restaurants, clubs, and casinos. Strategic location places guest’s minutes away from San Juan’s convention center, historical city, cruise piers, marinas, shopping, and attractions, and just five minutes from the San Juan International Airport.
**Breakfast is included. Hotel is a short walk from Isla Verde beach.

- Single or Double occupancy, $165/night; Triple occupancy, $185/night; Quad occupancy, $205/night
- Available Room Types – Deluxe, 1 king bed; Deluxe 2 double beds

- Third and fourt adult fee in room is $25/night; Gov’t tax: 9%/night; Hotel fee: 16%/night; Bellman charges: $4/person per room (one-time fee); Maid charge: $1/person per room per night

- Dorms at InterAmerican University (close to the venue) – Each dorm is a suite of 3 rooms, 2 restrooms, and can hold 3-6 people. Available from 3 to 7 April. To reserve a room in these apartments, please email Sandra Cruz at sandra@vamospr.org.
Government taxes are added to the prices.
Other Hotels – There are other hotels and vacation rentals available near the conference site, but the conference planners will not provide transportation to and from hotels not on the list above.
Transporation to and from Accommodations – The WCTE planning committee will provide transportation each day between the hotels and apartments listed above and the UPR-San Piedra campus where the conference will meet. If you choose to stay at other accommodations, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation. Taxis and Uber are readily available. Participants are urded to email sandra@vamos.pr when you know your travel details. Please send her your flight numbers and times, lodging plans, and a phone # so our transportation team can contact you to help you plan transportation to and from the airport and to and from the venue each day!
Local Tourism Sites – The WCTE planning committee will provide transportation for the following excursions:
April 3 – Visit Nuestra Escuela school. Times and details to be announced.
April 7 – Visit Old San Juan – Shops, restaurants, El Morro castle/fort and more.
Transportation provided, expenses will be paid by individual participants.

Conference Meals – There will be several meals provided at the WCTE. If you have special dietary needs (allergies, vegan, vegetarian, Halal, Kosher, etc), email Sandra Cruz at sandra@vamospr.org.
